Chief Executive Officer, Edward Komane founded EPONT having worked in the private sector and public sector extensively.
An Economist by training and profession, his experience extends from the financial services sector to government including entities, with a track record in investment facilitation and enterprise development and practical experience in local government development policy framework.

Project Development & Implementation
Social and Labour Plan (SLP)
This section coordinates the implementation of the client’s SLP projects being:
Mining Community Projects (also known as Local Economic Development Projects)
These are projects committed by clients to contribute towards the development of mine communities and, may be income-generating (e.g. agriculture projects) or non-income generating (e.g. infrastructure projects).

Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD)
Under ESD we develop and coordinate the implementation of the enterprise development (ED) and supplier development (SD).
The focus is on the entrepreneurs within the client’s host and surrounding communities to ensure local businesses are capacitated to be competitive to do business in the mining and related industries.
