SLP Community Development Projects

Agriculture Development

The project benefited 10 local emerging farmers from 5 communities in Rustenburg. This is an income-generating project that developed beneficiaries for small livestock farming in Dorper Sheep. The project provided training, building of sheep pens, supply of livestock, access to market and mentoring which is continuing for two years.

Education Infrastructure Support

This SLP project supported 3 schools with IT equipment to replace the old computers for the LD Matshego Primary and Rauwane Sepeng Secondary School who were supplied with laptops for the Teachers. School desks were also supplied to LD Matshego Primary School. The desks provided much needed support to the school as they absorbed more learners at beginning of 2024.

Celebrating the Successful Completion of the Rustenburg Chrome Mining (RCM) Enterprise and Supplier Development Programme (ESD) for 2024–2025

On 05 September 2025, EPONT led partnership successfully concluded the ESD Programme for the 2024–2025 cycle. This milestone marks not just the end of a year-long journey, but the continuation of a vision: Knowledge driven to power Business

The heart of this programme lies in the entrepreneurs themselves. Their commitment to learning, adapting, and seizing opportunities demonstrated the true spirit of enterprise. From refining business strategies to enhancing operational efficiency, the graduates of the 2024–2025 programme now stand better positioned to contribute meaningfully to their industries and communities.

While the closing ceremony on 05 September signified the end of this cycle, it is by no means the end of the journey. The ESD Programme’s impact will continue to ripple through the businesses.

As we celebrate this achievement, we also look forward to the next cycle — building on.
